Michael Pontacoloni’s poems recently appear in Hopkins Review, Copper Nickel, New Ohio Review, and elsewhere.
He has received awards and scholarships from the Sewanee Writers Conference, the Vermont Studio Center, and the Southern Review, which awarded him the Oran Robert Perry Burke prize. He holds a PhD from the University of Mississippi and an MFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Born in Hartford, Connecticut, he teaches at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
